We are a A 501(c)3 Educational Organization, serving Ohio's Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Erie, and Huron counties.  Our purpose is to promote the hobby of model railroading, while serving the needs of its members. There are no dues beyond those required for National NMRA membership. Sign up for our 9-month Rail Pass trial membership for only $19.95! Division 4 Monthly Meetings:

 

 

  • Date/time: Meetings are held the 2nd Friday of every month, except July and August, at the Westlake City Recreation Center, 28955 Hilliard Blvd., Westlake, OH 44145.  6:00 PM to socialize; 6:30 PM meeting.
  • Clinics:  A clinic is presented as part of the monthly meeting.
  • Vendors:  A variety of items are usually available for sale before/during/after the meetings.
  • Raffle: There is a good selection of items either donated or purchased for the raffle.  
  • Company Store: Sells NMRA merchandise, including fund raising projects from other divisions.  
  • Member sharing: Members are invited to display models, photos, railroadiana, or anything that would be of interest to the general membership. Themes generally tie into the evening's clinic, but entries are by no means restricted to any theme.

  • Division 4 website:  www.div4.org is an informative site dedicated to keeping us up-to-date.
  • The Flatwheel: The Division's newsletter can be down loaded on the Division’s web site: www.div4.org
  • Facebook page: www.facebook.com/divfour
  • Yahoo Group:  The main purpose of this group is to share time sensitive information important to the group as quickly as possible.
  • Membership Roster and The Knowledge Depot: An opt-in member contact listing and details for members willing to share their specific talents with other members is available. This can be found in the Members Only area on the web site. www.div4.org
  • The Great Berea Train Show:  The Division hosts one of the area's largest train shows during the first full weekend in October, held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Middleburg Hts., Ohio.  Vendors and manufacturers, set up in five large buildings. Modular layouts are also displayed.
  • Module Group:  Members operate their own modules at shows, museums, and other public venues.
  • Layout Open Houses:  Members open their layouts for viewing by other members on scheduled dates.    
  • Field Trips: The Division hosts periodic field trips based on member suggestions.  
  • Annual Awards Banquet:  Held in December. A family event where we're usually honored by a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
  • The Division also supports  the Medina 4H Model Railroad Club
